Why Does Bravo Signs Ask for Vector Art?

Why Does Bravo Signs Need a Different Kind of Logo File?

Your logo looks clear on your phone or computer. Why can’t we use that same picture to make your sign?

A picture shows us what your logo looks like. To make some signs, we also need a file that tells our equipment where the edges are. That is called vector art.

Think of it like the difference between a photo of a shape and a drawing with lines we can follow. Those lines help us make your logo much larger without blurry edges. They can also guide equipment that cuts vinyl, makes letters, or shapes sign materials.

What about Canva?

Canva is great for showing us your idea. It can even save some designs as a vector file. But saving a design that way does not always turn an uploaded picture of your logo into the clean lines we need. We have to check the file to know.

What about AI?

AI can help create a design, and some AI tools can make vector art. But an AI image that looks good on a screen may still have blurry edges, odd lettering, or lines that will not work for the sign you want. We need to check it before making your sign.

What should you send us?

If you have an original logo file from your designer, send it to us. An editable .AI, .EPS, or .SVG file is often helpful. A PDF may work too, depending on what it contains. File extensions alone do not tell us whether the artwork inside is usable.

If all you have is a Canva link, PNG, JPG, screenshot, or AI-generated image, send that. Bravo Signs can review it, explain what is needed, and let you know if the art must be recreated before production.

The goal is simple: a sign that looks like your brand and can be made cleanly at the size you need.
